WHERE to find the W*H*Y Attractant
Early indications are that the new W*H*Y Trap for Wasps, Hornets & Yellowjackets will be a big seller for 2009. Customers in the Southern U.S. are already using it with success in catching the queen wasps, hornets and yellowjackets before they build nests.
We've heard from some customers that finding the W*H*Y Trap Attractant Kit has been a challenge. We definitely don't want it to be, and we're constantly working to make the product available in more locations. Our experience is that retailers commonly underestimate the demand for the refill attractants, despite our best sales efforts to get more on the shelf.
If you are not able to find the W*H*Y refills at the store where you purchased the trap, your best bet may be online. Below is a list of online retailers carrying the W*H*Y Attractant. Each link goes directly to the order page for the product.
As always, we appreciate hearing from you regarding any issues you may have with finding our product.
W*H*Y Traps on your list?
If you're in the Pacific Northwest, you can find them at Fred Meyer. Here's a photo I snapped yesterday with my phone:
Can't wait for ACE to discover WHY
We're excited to introduce the W*H*Y Trap for Wasps, Hornets & Yellowjackets to Ace Hardware and their dealers this week in St. Louis. Ace was the first national account to recognize the potential of the W*H*Y Trap last spring, and their buyers added the product to their lawn & garden lineup without hesitation.
Stay tuned for blogging from the Ace show.
True Value sees the value in WHY
Another retailer with a national presence is on board to carry the WHY Trap for Wasps, Hornets and Yellowjackets:
True Value has added the WHY Trap to their warehouses, so that the thousands of True Value dealers across the country will be able to offer it to their customers. We're looking forward to showing the product to dealers at their Fall Market in Atlanta this October!
Two more places to find the WHY Trap
The WHY Trap for Wasps, Hornets & Yellowjackets continues to make waves as our RESCUE! sales force presents it to their key accounts this summer. We have two more great retailers that are on board to carry the WHY Trap in 2009:
Orchard Supply Hardware has 85 stores in Northern and Southern California. They've been carrying our RESCUE! Yellowjacket Traps and Fly Traps for years, and will add the WHY Trap to their lineup next spring.
Attic Trunk is an online retailer boasting a variety of items sold for use around the home, from computers to wind chimes. In addition to carrying all of our Fly and Yellowjacket products, they carry the RESCUE! Japanese Beetle Trap. They are so enthusiastic about the WHY Trap that they've already listed it on their web site (under the "Outdoors" section).
More places WHERE you can find WHY
Oh, just a few small retailers, like this one:
and this one:
and another one you may have heard of:
OSH How-to Fair
We may not love standing around in a booth for eight hours straight, but going to trade shows is a great way for those of us on the RESCUE! sales and marketing team to connect personally with our customers. We can introduce people to our products, answer questions, and get feedback from those who have already used them. I'm pleased to say that the most frequent comment we hear about our insect traps is "Hey, those things really work!"
Orchard Supply Hardware, a chain in California, holds several "How-to Fairs" each year. Pleasanton, CA (east of the San Francisco Bay Area) was the site of a How-to Fair this past weekend, on March 5 and 6.
